Over 600 years of history

Due to the central location at the river, our buildings have always been of great importance for the town and an important place for trade as we well as for people to come together. It is exactly this aspect that we re-address today and we try to preserve the past at our Bootshaus. Historic building details, rooms named after Middle Age professions, books about the life back then in Amberg, a place to come together – immerse yourself in the exciting history of our buildings.

Preserving history through architecture

Preserving the old and creating the new – this is the art of historic monument renovation. 5 houses, 3 of them under monument protection, were renovated and turned to our current Bootshaus on very tight space in the old town of Amberg. After 5 years of planning phase and 2.5 years construction time, our Amberg architect Georg Zunner in cooperation with our local companies and partners has created a true masterpiece.
