We are hosts with passion

We are Eva and Klaus, father and daughter, we love Amberg, are kayak partners and captains of the Bootshaus. Together we were dreaming of a place where people can come together at the Vils at the heart of Amberg. Together we managed to make this dream come true and are very much looking forward to share it with you.

Reception & Administration Team

Our administration and reception team makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll find them at the front desk or when you make a table reservation. Their responsibilities are varied, just like their talents.

 

Magdalena Stubenvoll

Magdalena is our reception manager and looks after our hotel guests.

Lea Renner

Lea is there at the reception for our hotel guests and whips up the most amazing coffee.

Dorit Segerer

Dorit is part of our reception team and is also involved in event planning and marketing.

Anja Killermann

Anja is your first contact person when it comes to events or private parties at the Bootshaus.

Anna Bogner

Anna is there for our marketing and also likes to have a say in the wine. Sometimes you can also find her at our front desk.

 

 

Housekeeping Team

Our cleaning fairies make sure our guests feel completely comfortable and welcome every day—whether in their hotel rooms or in the public areas.

 

Silvia Brems

Silvia is our housekeeping manager and ensures that our hotel rooms always shine.

Jutta Kölbel

Jutta takes care of the cleanliness of the public areas and the hotel.

Alina Scharrer

Alina actively supports us in housekeeping and spreads her good humour to everyone.

Kathrin Kratzer

Kathrin lovingly takes car of our rooms and the entire house.

 

 

Service Team

Our full-time service professionals represent a large team of people who are dedicated to ensuring that our restaurant guests enjoy a relaxing experience by the river every day.

 

Ramona Graml

Ramona is our service manager and has a lot of international experience.

Wing Man Lam

Wing Man runs our bar and makes sure our guests are happy.

Rebecca Orasinovic

Becci adds a wealth of experience to our service and ensures that our events run smoothly.

Amelie Weinberg

Amelie has been part of the team right from the start and is doing her hotel management apprenticeship with us from September 2024.

Roman Sokol

Roman, from Pilsen, is the perfect addition to our team and is always up for a joke—whether with the team or with our guests.

Melanie Bachmann

With our Meli, the sun rises right at the hotel breakfast. Her smile and warm personality ensure the best start to the day.

 

 

Kitchen Team

Our kitchen team works around the clock, seven days a week, to deliver exceptional service and treat our guests to regional and seasonal cuisine.

 

Florian Götz

Florian is our head chef and ensures that our kitchen philosophy is implemented with passion.

Nico Strobel

Nico has been a cook in the Bootshaus team from the very beginning and prepares the most delicious dishes.

Daniel Fritz

Our chef, Daniel, is a tremendous asset to our kitchen team; with his organized approach, he always keeps everything under control and stays calm.

Elena Liebl

The lovingly prepared breakfast and delicious cakes in our Backbord are freshly prepared every day by our breakfast chef, Elena.

Tarek Hajjasem

Tarek has been a valuable addition to our team as a chef since the fall of 2025. He not only puts our guests in a great mood with his dishes, but also brightens up our team with his sense of humor.

Douglas Sica

With Douglas on board, our kitchen crew is complete. Douglas brings a wealth of experience to the table and is a great addition to our team.

Anja Schmal

Anja helps us in the kitchen and is a great addition to our team.

Claudia Hoffmann

Our Claudi is the heart and soul of our kitchen and keeps everything neat and tidy. She keeps everything running smoothly and looks after the entire kitchen team.
